Step 2: We supply the boxes
We bring flat-packed storage boxes and packing supplies, agreed in advance. You pack at your own pace, without trying to cram your life into supermarket banana boxes like a desperate raccoon.
Step 3: We collect from your door
Book a collection slot. We collect your packed boxes/items and load them carefully.
Step 4: We place everything into your indoor unit
Your items go into a clean, secure Brown Box indoor unit. You keep the key, and your stuff stays stored until you need it back.

Do you pack everything for me?
At the moment, assume the standard service is: we supply boxes, you pack, we collect and store. Full packing can be quoted as an optional extra.
Can you help me choose the right unit size?
Yes. Send photos, a list of items or use the Quick Size Calculator. We’ll help estimate the right size before you book. If you’re unit is not big enough or too small and we have options available, we’ll happily change your unit size for you.
Do I need to be there when you collect?
Usually, yes, unless arranged in advance. We’ll confirm access, parking and whats being collected before the job.
Can you collect from upstairs flats?
Potentially, but stairs, distance from parking, heavy items and awkward access may affect the quote.
Can I access my items afterwards?
Yes. Your items are stored in your Brown Box unit, and access follows our normal site access arrangements.
Are my things insured?
Customers need goods protection/insurance. Brown Box can supply goods protection at an additional cost or you can supply your own. Proof of goods protection is required when storing with us.
What can’t I store?
No perishables, fuels, fireworks, illegal goods, pressurised cylinders or living things. Our secure units page already lists prohibited examples. But a full list is available on request.
